I really don't know much about Thompson Center Hawken rifles. Does anyone know what a Maltese Cross stamped on the barrel means??? Thanks!!

Archer.........to me, it seems that soneone had a stamp for that cross and just smacked
it with a hammer. But on a nicely blued T C barrel, very unusual...........Don

Agree with Don.
Sold dozens and dozens of T/C rifles over the decades. Don't remember seeing that mark.
