As many of us already know Dentist's tools make very handy micro chisels and scrapers and sometimes you can pick them up at flea markets or even you dentist. The problem with them is, holding onto the handles of the darn things for more than 15 minutes is hard on the fingers and they are hard to control. I took a page from the Genius ideas book of one of the students at the gun building course in Kentucky and put new handles on the several I have. I cut the handle off and soldered the blade it into the end of a 3/8" brass rod. Knerling the brass assures a good grip, and they are a pleasure to use.
