Eight panels on the body, about 11” around the outside curve. Pine base about 2 1/4" held in with eight diamond/square head nails, large nail in base for strap.

Every horn has potential- think you maximized this one's potential. I often have to look at a horn for a while to figure out what to do with it. This one was thick enough for a real nice panel job.

Thanks guys. The color was done with AF a lot of heat and a liberal coating of Brown shoe polish, while hot, buffed with a brush.
