At the low cost of 25.00 I would suggest that you may want to buy two. One to leave in your pickup truck to take to gunshows to double check yourself and leave the other home..Being relatively new to the "Antique Longrifle  Scene", I cannot imagine how a collector or enthusiast could begin to gather even a hint of what James Whisker has compiled in his books. I keep his Virginia books at my desk , and hardlly a week goes by that I don't open them up. His information on gunsmiths add much to the joy of studying/collecting. I am more than grateful for Mr. Whiskers tireless work . If there is a Historian/Gun Writers Hall of Fame James B.Whisker surely deserves to be in it.Mark Smith
