Im sorry, looks like the jokes on me, let me rephrase, What are the quality of his builds and secondly how would I go about putting a price on one? I tried to use the search function first but just keep coming  up with a book and the gunbuilding fair

Thanks

Write to Chuck.  Send a couple of pictures of the rifle, and ask him what it's worth.  You won't get a value answer here, because it is so subjective.

Marc, they're pulling yer chain.  Chuck runs this place. www.dixonmuzzleloading.com  You can contact him there.  Since posting this last night, I figured out these guys are being bad for Santa, so he'll put coal in their stockings, or give them a box of rocks(flint), or maybe a couple pieces of rusty ole wrought iron.  Sly foxes they are. ;D

Marc, you should post a picture of your rifle. I know Chuck is making some affordable rifles, barn guns, nothing fancy for about $600.00.

I have found Chuck to be fair and reasonable. No hocus pocus with him. Good Luck in your venture. Buckscoshooter

If the gun is signed "Chuck Dixon" and not "C. Dixon Jr." Than it was very likely built some time ago by Chuck himself. The C. Dixon Jr. guns are by his son Greg Dixon. I'm not sure that Chuck Sr. has built a gun since the 80's...maybe before that. Greg also doesn't build anymore. Call them.
