See how the ends of the cheekpiece flow into the stock in the pic below? I can't remember whose gun it is but the design is terrific.... Getting your cheekpiece to flow into the stock will make a big difference
This Jim Klein Peter Berry rifle has a buttstock shape something like yours, just for refernce
Here is the cheekpiece and carving style on an original Berry..... From Annville --close to Harrisburg on the susquehanna -- or close..... What some are sayinng, I think is that carving of this style may fit the shape of the stock better than the lancaster style... but hey...
