Womelsdorf inlay correctness
« on: January 18, 2011, 02:06:04 PM »
Hello, I would like to know how appropriate cats-eye ( losenge)  barrel pin escutcheons are on a Ficthorn rifle. I did not do a good enough job getting the pins right the first time and thus need the inlays to hide my repair and relocation of the pins  ::)  I'm not to the point of inlaying them yet, just don't have enough knowledge about specific schools. The photos I have seen seem to be of the same 3 guns and they don't have barrel pin escutcheons. On the brighter side I think I'll do better next time ;D  Thanks for your time.
