I don't know the dimensions, but the rifle is sort of what a lot of most people might today call "Woodbury" style in that Butch was another of Hershel House's early students of that style. In general, it is sort of a melding of southwest Virginia and Tennessee styles with decorative elements from throughout Virginia, sometimes North Carolina and other areas. But mostly Virginia and in the case of this rifle it is very much more along the lines of Sheets-Shenandoah Valley influenced piece, rather than being heavier on the southwest Virginia/Tennessee end of the spectrum. But really a blending of style and really well done at that. Just a magnificent piece in my opinion.
