i have this rifle marked in script on top of barrel flat B. L. Raims. rifle is in good condition to be a working rifle. rifle consist of lock (marked T. DAVIDSON &CO.) ,barrel is 30 cal.,cast steel with snail brazed to barrel to accept the percussion nipple. Stock is maple and fullstock. trigger guard is brass and looks like a late pennsylvania one. set triggers are well made as is the lock. it has two brass ramrod thimbles. made by a good builder because the barrel channel is a almost perfect inlet,as is the lock,tang and trigger guard. the trigger guard is 3 1/2 long and has a sphere point, held on by one screw.
