i have made another rear sight out of brass.and it is fitted and i tried it out last weekend and it was a sunny day and i had no problems seeing the front blade sight.i really like the looks of it.i made four rear sights lastweek and this is the one i chose....

i used a bridgeport to mill the basic out line,everything else was done with handfiles and a vise.alittle emory clothe and steel wool.took about 1hr to make.i made 4 different styles last week.and i made one out of mild steel .....
