Thanks a lot Mark.

Now, How long are those strings generally.   What was the shortest last year?

I never did get e-mailed the results and they're not on Mel Hankla's site from last year's shoot. But the '08 results are:

SkyChief,
Won't swear to it but I think the top several strings were in the 4"-5"+/- range. How about it Don?

I haven't been to the York shoot for several years, really miss it tho.   Seems like they have had some bad weather the
past several years, this makes those string measures go up.   I do know that some guys like Paul Griffith and a few others have been shooting total measurements down in the 3" range, which is awesome.  The best I ever did was 6+"
which got me 5th place, now that won't finish in the top 10.     When you tell people that you finished 5th, they somewhat
down play it, but when I tell them it was better than about 200 other shooters, it kind of puts it in perspective.    It's a
great game.   I learned more about shooting doing this game than all my other years of shooting.   We also had about
10 to 15 guys doing a side bet on each target.   We were betting with sackajawea (spelling?) dollars with the best shot
taking the pot.  We did this on all ten targets............Don
