Hello all, total newb here needs ID help

First of all, I'd like to say hello to all.
You guys have a fine forum here, with an overwhelming amount of information to digest.

I've done a decent amount of reading on here and have looked at many different pictures in the library trying to get a feel for the various design queues that might indicate the origin of the following rifles. After doing this I can't say I am any closer to an answer. I see no shortage of threads asking for id help and I need your help.

Here's what I know:
There are no clearly visible makers marks on the exterior of the rifles. I am not completely opposed to disassembly if there is a good chance of finding a helpful mark. The rifles were purchased by my grandfather (who's no longer with us) 20 years ago or so. My family is from NW Georgia and I believe they would have been purchased somewhere in that area (eastern Tennessee is really close).

While I am interested in their value, they are not for sale nor will they be.
I welcome any and all comments, suggestions, or advice.

The rifle with the mushroom like finial brings Peter Gonter to mind.  The use of
3 large headed nails on the patchbox rails.  Keeping the engraving to one end
of the patchbox lid, the chunky fat looking finial.  The engraving hand.  It's
just something I see in it.

Thoughts:
#1: Bedford Co a/or surrounding area counties. Appears to have been shortened. Have seen similar patchbox finials on Cambria Co ( Pringle) and Bedford ( Snider) guns.

#3 Looks to have a Lancaster style  stock but don't recognize the patchbox . Also appears shortened. Lock replaced  with unusual shaped mortise form  (boat shaped)...perhaps a clue to the maker identity..

The top one seems to have been made near Bedford or Somerset Co., Pa. 
The second one seems to have been made near Pittsburg, Pa. somewhere along the National Road.

Ha Ha.....It's a step stool, and I was trying to fit the rifles in the frame.

Are there any other specific pictures that would help? Perhaps a shot of the muzzle or a bore measurement?

I appreciate all the help.
