ALR Museum Gunsmith: Unknown, Berks Co (?) Before and after
« on: March 23, 2011, 10:35:00 PM »
This is a fine long rifle, restored at the owners request raising the esthetic question of "Restoration" and "How Much." PLease read the Committee commentary and please add your own. The discussion here is particularly important!

I would now be proud to hang that rifle gun over my fireplace. I would hesitate to do that in the condition it was in in the "before" pics nor would I park a 1929 "Model A " roadster in my driveway with rust holes on the fenders, torn up upholstrey , flat tires ,broken headlights and faded out paint but thats just me.
