I realize this is a long shot, but thought I would see if anyone might have the sale catalogue "A Review of 162 Antique Arms" Auction at the Radison Hotel, Zurich Switzerland 1976, by Robert Held.  I've been trying to find a copy of this, but am having no luck.  Specifically I am looking on information pertaining to the mark used by the Medici family, of Florence Italy, on firearms.  I understand  Mr. Held discusses what he refers to as the "Medici Mark".

Thanks,
Jim

As long as your trying long shots try ebay. I've found some things there that I couldn't find elsewhere.     JIM

Go to http://www.bookfinder.com and put "R Held" in the author box... or the title in the title box, or both. There are multiple copies available with prices ranging from about $50.00 to $170.00.

Held also wrote "The Age of Firearms, a pictorial history"  Authors often repeat earlier material and pictures in their books.  It may be mentioned there.  I have a copy, but just looked in the bookshelf and it aint there.  It's probably buried under an old project somewhere.  If I run across it, I will look to see if the info you are looking for is mentioned, or maybe someone else has a copy handy and can look in the index for you.
