New Knife
« on: May 10, 2011, 07:30:34 AM »
Here is a new knife my friend and I put together last week. It's a hand forged blade that I bought  at the Log Cabin shop about 25 yrs ago. It has been in a box under the work bench all this time. (I forgot that I had it). The spike horn antler has been hanging on the shed wall for 10 yrs and was as white as snow. The blade is marked rippler. It's a copy of a blade found a the Point Pleasant battle site. I was looking at the CLA  site and there was a knife made by h house that my blade looked a lot like his. So my buddt and I thought we would give it a try. The white antler was burned with map gas then wiped down with dark walnut stain and is held on with 2 iron pins . Now I am going to build a center sean sheath for it. Hope ya like it
