i took my trekking rifle out sunday and shot over a dozen balls out of her.had no problems sighting with that rear brass sight i installed.had more problems with my powder than anything.i grabbed an old horn that was 3/4 full of powder that has been hanging in the basement for a while.seemed to burn real slow.like the humidity got to it.going out this sunday to shoot somemore and plan on taking some fresh powder and see what kind of scores i can get at 25-50 yards.

Lew,

That is a neat looking sight.  Is there any problem with glare on a really sunny day?

THAT is a beautiful sight!  I guess that, leaning back at that angle, any reflection off the rear of the sight would hit the barrel, rather than your eye??  It would make a person proud to be able to make a sight as nice as that one.....
