I posted a photo of a Stonewall Creek Stock back then, asking for opinions of what to build with it. Thanks again to all who replied. There are photos of this unfinished rifle I posted in the Tutorial board, "Cutting Sight Slots by Hand". The finished rifle weighs about 8 3/4 pounds. I used an L&R Classic Lock, for which it was inletted, and a White Lightning liner. I did not have to open the hole, it is still about .052 and has almost never had a flash in the pan, even for several hundred shots. I like this lock so well that I just bought a left handed one for the next rifle I am now building. I used a Beck MA-47-B buttplate from TOW, wanting a wide one.
