I'm working on a long barrel flintlock pistol. The rear lockbolt is a standard 8-32 from TOW. The unthreaded portion of the bolt is to long.
I can't find anyone in Norway who can cut the threads longer on the bolt. Everyone here uses only metric thread cutters.
I need a 8-32 lockbolt with total length minimum 1.5" and the unthreaded portion no longer than 1.0". Can anyone help me?
Best regards
Rolf

It looks like you've already threaded the lock bolt holes. I the front bolt 10-32 thread? It looks smaller. TOW has some other choices with different head designs that look like the threads are longer in 8-32. There is a matching head with 10-32 as well. I'd take the easy route and just order new lock bolts. It looks like you're using rifle lock bolts. Take a look at these

Rolf..........I have a lot of lock bolts, 8x32, but with round heads. I would gladly run a die down it to give you more threads
if you want. Just get me your mailing address...........Don (dggetz@embarqmail.com)

I'd like to thank everyone for their quick response and kind offers.
The button dies will solve the problem.
Micah, the rear bolt is 8-32 and the front bolt 6-32
Best regards
Rolf
