Who made this barrel?
« on: June 22, 2011, 02:41:06 AM »
A friend stopped by with a barrel he wants breeched.

It is octagon, 26" long (has been shortened obviously), 50 caliber with a 1:60" twist.

Lands and grooves are equal in width.

The muzzle is stamped:  50   60   C .

4 flats are a narrower width, 4 flats are a wider width.   Opposing flats are equal widths.

Does this barrel "ring any bells"?   He would like to know who might have made it and so would I.

Thanks, Skychief.
