Allen Martin Rifle for Ken Gahagan

Eveything so right and so well executed on it.  A bit different from Allen's usual work, but really stunning.  Really bold architectural move with that slight sway belly variation as opposed to a conventional step toe and it looks fantastic - really one of a kind.  Not a lot of folks can pull off something like that so well.

Looks like the brainchild and vision of two great craftsmen - both the maker and the customer in this case.  I really like it.

It just conjures up the feel of a gun that was "there."

  That is one bold kick ass piece of work and every American man woman and child should be required to own one like it - Allen you're gonna need to start buying stock blanks by the acre

Photos are really not enough.  Any one who has actually held (fondled) one of Allen's guns will know what I mean.
The details, craftsmanship, and little nuances that are there, just can't be seen in a photo.  When you handle one, all that comes out.
Every time I handle my Lehigh, I'm in awe.

Very nice Christian's Spring effort there. What is really impressive to me is the carving design, close to existing examples, but certainly not a copy of any existing design. Yet it looks exactly like a period correct design that came from the CS shop. That's really impressive to me. Wow.
