John Noll Rifle

I have just completed a John Noll rifle. I made if for my daughter. It is a John Noll replica in .50 caliber with a Rice barrel. The wood stock was supplied by Freddie Harrison. I think this is most probably the nicest looking gun I have made so far. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Cheers Niall

Beautiful work, Niall.  Your daughter will have a family heirloom now, and better yet one built by her father!  You have done some very fine carving, engraving and metal inlay as well.  I would like to see some close ups of your golden bands if you have any, as well as that patchbox.

Niall has done a great job on his Noll rifle.  He seems to get the architecture down pat every time.  And I agree...his engraving is excellent.  Here's a bigger one of the box...

Very well done Sir and I agree with the others a family heirloom for your daughter. I hope she loves to shoot because a beautiful rifle like that deserves to make smoke.

An absolute masterful depiction and a great credit to the art of longrifle crafting. It is a wonderful heart gift.

(John Noll is also one of my favorite original builders too.)
