Another Simple Horn
« on: August 04, 2011, 05:38:54 PM »
This one is about 12 ½” around the outside curve. The butt end was left in its natural shape, the plug is pine held in with 8 wooden pegs, a wire staple for the strap. Color AF and brown shoe polish.

Tim,

You realize you influence me a great deal. Ive been pondering a very similar horn.  The only thing that scares me is the way it narrows at the rings.  I love it

I've been drawn to simple horns and "folk art" engraving. Very nice!
