George is quite a craftsman, definately one of the best...and that gun is a beautiful example of his work...If I recall what he told me about it correctly, the applied patina on the metal of that rifle is actually pain stakingly "stipple" engraved by hand first so it is exactly where he wants it to be and looks exactly like he wants it to.
