Shumway #58 info?

I would like to know any sources of info on this gun.
Anything at all.
Anyone know where it it located?

It's obvious by the lack of response that info on RCA  # 58 is spare or closely guarded. I can tell you that I've read specualtion that this could be a Vernor made smoothbore based on stock profile similairity and tang carving on RCA #63. Dr. Shumway has this in the Lehigh section but it clearly exhibits Bucks County work but without all the bells and whistles.

I'm still hoping but may have to go with something else.
Not a big deal as I'm in the planning stages.

I've never had an opportunity to handle/examine that gun but from the pictures it looks like the trigger guard front extension was cut down from an earlier Rocco design where the profile would have matched the c & s scrolls --- perhaps it is off an earlier European gun. It seems out of character with the butt piece which is more typical of a 1790 American rifle.
