TC Hawken Flintlock new design

Roundball & All,

Thanks for attaching pictures in a previous post of a new style and old style cocks, I sent my lock back to TC a couple of years ago because it did not spark well, They evidently changed the frizzen however they left the old style cock on the lock has a notch as you have mentioned in your  previous post, It still does not spark well and the flint hits the frizzen too square like you mentioned! In an old Muzzleloader book someone wrote an article about heating and bending the cock down to get a better scraping action on the frizzen! What are your thoughts  ???
