Rifles of Colonial America Vol 1 and 2. No internet site will come close.
Might be available through interlibrary loan but you are best advised to buy both while they are available.
One of these rifles is also shown, in color, in "Moravian Gunmaking of the American Revolution".

RCA vol. 1 #48, 49, 50 are Dickerts.  When I think of J. Dickert, #48 comes to mind. My Mike Miller gun is in the style of #48.

If you can borrow or buy a copy of  The Book of Lancaster carving Details for the Gunmaker  by Susanne Warren Bicio you will find several Dickert rifles drawn with carving details and some rifles show patchbox and engraving details too.   Smylee

Gary,
I appreciate your MuzzleBlasts references.  I dug through my stash of MB and found both.

Smylee grouch,
Thanks for the mention of The Book of Lancaster carving Details for the Gunmaker  by Susanne Warren Bicio.  I'll try to find it.
