Anybody Know Of A Maker By The Name of Woodruff

Last year I bought a 1/2 stock English style (Purdy) Percussion rifle in 62 Caliber. This one was marked Woodruff on the top of the barrel. This rifle is very well made even if it is not highly embellished. Anybody know of a Woodruff?
