Thanks for the pics. I read that the Pbox brass for the  BC lids was very thin {.030"} and could be bent to spring open. I make my BC lids from .062 brass and doubt that thickness could be made to spring up. Thanks again....Fred

The original lid I pictured here looks to be around .030"+.
