First sighting in target 30 yds rest.  started low (of course) and abt 3/4 in to 3 O'Clock side gradually moved her up (file frt sight) then moved the r sight and she's there.

Heading for the range later today for some 50 and 100 yds rest shots to fine tune ...  Happy days.  This was with the new beast shown under building posting...


Come now point out more of her pimples and warts... :)

That's how I like to do it as well, Roger.  She's on the money now, time to stretch her wings with some range and maybe some more powder. What's the rifle weigh, Roger?

She and I together about 219 lbs.  I can't get her to stand still long enough to weigh her...... ;D :P ::)




I'll get around to that.  I'm still busy tweaking her.... :D

Well, she and you are about 11 pounds lighter than I am, then... ;D

Looks like  its going to be a real shooter!! What  patch and ball combo did you  try?  I look forward to see what it does at 75yards off the rest. Are ya going to retire old faithful or sell it and give us more compatision ;)

.495  .016/.017 & spit.   I went on out to 100 since I figured if she shoots at 100 she sure should shoot at 75.  Photos to follow as soon as I can get a little blonde lady to do it.  (Post the photos that is).   I'm torn between the new gal and old reliable.  

btw You seem to be at the top of your game, so more competition would help you to bear down still more...

Roger -- I almost asked about the ball and patch combo last night.  That seems to be a good one in my GM .50 also, and your load isn't that far off from what I use most of the time.  I didn't need to ask about the lube because I know you are full of ...spit :)!
