Paneled Hunting Horn
« on: February 24, 2012, 03:55:10 AM »
Had this idea for a paneled hunting horn.  The horn I've been using was my first and thought I could do better, so here ya go.  Full panels along the length, one each for sika and whitetail kills (flintlock kills only marked, hope to fill the sides in coming years  ;) ) along with name and home.  How'd I do?

That is a nicely done horn...very reminiscent of PA folk styles.  I like it!!  Nice job and something to be proud of.

Very nice horn!  Simple, yet fancy.  Nicely done! :)

Very nice work.

And a WHOLE lot of filing!   ;D  Thanks guys, now just got to kill enough deer to scratch up the sides good.

I really like this horn. It works very nicely with the scrim following the panels. Very well done.

Great job and a great way to keep up with the number of kills.  With the way you are going, you might forget one or two along the way.  This way you can count them all.  Nice work all around.
