Beautiful rifle by Alan Sandy on the blog!!

There is a beutiful rifle on the contemp.blog today. The caving and wire inlay is fantasic!! Could anyone tell me a bit about this rifle?

What style is the stock? Is it cherry?  What barrel is use? What brass?

  It looks to be cherry. Allan's guns are always built to a high standard of fit and finish and his silver wire work is beautiful.

What impresses me as much as the eye candy decore and finish, is the gun's architecture.  That is a shooter's/hunter's rifle, and it's stock design would support any calibre you chose to use.  I like his stock oil too.

I love to look at and hold his guns at CLA every year. The architecture just feels like a shooter and is beautiful sculpture....
