I am wanting to find someone other than colrain for smoothebore barrels and don't realy know anyone else. Does anybody know of other makers I could contact?

Green Mountain still seems to have a few smoothbores .40 and .45 in their internet specials.

Ed Rayl of Gassaway, West Virginia. No website but his number is 304.364.8269. He just built me a copy of a J. P. Beck barrel that was a 54 caliper smoothbore that only weighed 3.1 pounds. It was an octogon to round profile that was .940 at the breech and 47" long. He did a great job.

Van.....that looks like a great Beck barrel, most of his barrels were an inch or less at the breech, and they always look
good when they are stretched out...........Don

You just missed a great one that Charles Burton just sold here on ALR. It was a 38" 16 bore oct to round. I saw it at the CLA show and it was a really well made barrel and ideal for a hunting gun.
