This is a great rifle to add to the museum, illustrating many of the finer points of the early Reading/Berks County characteristics, often attributed to Haga. The name on the lid appears to be "John Fries" but it would be nice to verify it with the owner.   XXXX

Here is the gun data:

The name in box is "John Fibbs". Barrel length 41", overall length is approximately 58" and butt at widest is about 1 3/4".
