Comments:
Nice Tennessee style rifle with great iron furniture including the guard, long tang, fancy filed pipes and butt plate return filed to match. I'd surmise the barrel is cut about four inches, thus the replacement cast nose cap. Glad to see some remaining signature on the barrel, even if hard to read. This is a nice rifle in good, original condition and good candidate for the museum.
