Went to the range today

Mrs. Ezra and I both have Lancaster's.  Hers is made from a Brad Emig kit designed for ladies or youth.  It is just a very scaled down version of a Lancaster.  Her's has a length of pull of 11 1/2", barrel length of 30", overall length of 44" and is .40 caliber.  Mine is made from a Chambers kit.  It has a 14" length of pull, barrel length of 44", overall length of 59 1/2" and is .58 caliber.

   Nice guns! Too many uppy downy lines in the wood! ...you can always paint over them.  So I'll be able to see them in a few weeks. I'm excited! I like Brad's work.His own Penn Mtn. rifles are appealing too.
  I went to the range with Daryls and Taylor today for some bench shooting also. Since cannons are banned at Heffley, these animals are bringing their hand cannons; a puny .62 Hawkling and some off shore Sporting Jackhandle in .69 . Gotta tell ya,these#^*^#@!&^^%er's can shoot! Taylor's rifle(a Hawken) is sighted for 2 hundred  and needed a sight picture for 100yds. Daryls, well he just blew up the country side!LOL! He's deadly off the bench so I kept passing him my loaded new little 40! Nice to be the referee betwixt the two bro's!  I chot the chits so I'll be easier at Heffley! Embarrassing terrible flinch! yikes.

   How do these beauties shoot? Give us some data on your loads etc... R

The Missus shoots about seven inches high at 50 yards with about 40 grains of 3f, and dead on at 100 yards with the same charge.
The .58 shoots literally center of bullseye at 50 yards w/95 grains of 3f.  About 10" low at 100 with the same charge.
