Beautiful rifle!  Superlative piece of walnut.  Great build.
Reading rifles are arguably the most beautiful stock architecture, and this one is very nice.  With 3 3/4" drop0 at the heel, it might even be shootable!  I have trouble with them cracking the cheek bone, in spite of my heads-up shooing style.  I'd like to hear how this one shoots, Mitch, as far as shooter comfort is concerned.  As far as accuracy, that'll be a given.

That is one very fine looking rifle...... I will have to do a little more experimenting on some of my scrap walnut,  :o :o
