The Shuler family of gunsmiths is well known in Pennsylvania and Ohio. This gun most certainly made in Ohio. Other please comment. I will add history of this family later. There were/are several fine articles about the Shuler family of Gunsmiths on the web posted by the Association of Ohio Longrifle ollectors. (
