New Tansel Powder Horn

My friend Rick Lorenzen has been busy putting the final touches on a powder horn that he made for me. I have always wanted a Tansel style horn and very soon will be giving this one a good home.   ;D  Here are a couple of pictures of his work that is still in progress.

Rob, you'd have to ask the Tansel's that. It looks very much like the original it appears to be patterned after to me.

It is a nice looking horn and I thank you all for your comments! Rick has a lot of talent and is a good friend as well. This is my third powder horn from him and I'm sure it won't be the last!  I've been contemplating a F&I war era map horn in the future.  :D  :o    Rob, this Tansel style horn has two American eagles taking bites out of a British lion between them. It is similar to an original Tansel made to commemorate the War of 1812.
