Glad you had fun Crispy. Our first shoot will be January 24,25 at Milton Wisconsin. I think it will be cold, shoot and load fast( but be safe) and get back to the warm tent. We allways have fun. Mark ( PS 3 is better than one.)

Welcome to the site Buffalo.  Good to have another Canuck on board.  Temp here is -25 C today...spent a couple hours fixing the fence and shoveling snow at my daughter's place.  Invigorating.

I hate to admit it but I'm becoming more and more of a fair weather shooter every year.

This year has been the hardest for me and I never really minded the cold until this last two to three week spell of 10 to 15 below zero and the warming up of the days to 5 to 10 above along with 20 to 30 mph wind, every danged ol' day...

Geezzz, I hate cold weather like that, especially during the ML hunting season.  It's almost like you slow down from 100% to about 10% peak performance.  Every thing you try to do in that kind of wind blown bitter cold just turns to fumbling $#@*!

I hear, ya, Marty. - getting to be Taylor and I won't go out to shoot the trail if it's below -10C anymore. Just can't stand the cold like we used to when we were pups.

Same here Daryl, I can't take the cold anymore either... mostly my fingers, which are kinda important to the game! :(
