I agree with the other responders, that salt is never coming out of the grease. Speaking as a cook now, once salt is introduced into a fat or foodstuff it is not coming out. It can be diluted but what is there stays there. Forget that particular bear fat and move on to something else.
There was a fairly recent thread here on ALR regarding bear fat and one or two posters stated that they had some to offer, perhaps you can find that thread and obtain some from them. Good luck.
