Experiment that did work

Had the idea a while so thought now why not.  I made the antler short starter with a vent pick carried in the handle (little red ball).  The "day horn" is made from bamboo and except for the tacks it was all made from scratch.

This is my crude knapping hammer I referred to on the other thread.  Maybe I should do some more work and also spruce it up.

Nice job on the day horn.
Very practical & easily fit in a shooting bag.
