This posting is primarily for the new guys on this forum and it comes in the form of an introduction about myself and a welcome to this site. My name is Hugh Toenjes - I have been involved with making longrifles and pistols since 1972. Below are some photos of what I've been working on over the last number of months and yrs. The rifle in the photos is called the "Masterpiece Rifle" because it was endorsed by the American Custom
Gunmakers Guild in 2009 for entrance there in. The rifle is cased with all accessories and it's workmanship is all of my own hand including the handcut rifling. I also make scrimshawed powder horns and accompanying
hunting bags.
