A History of Firearms - Pollard
« on: March 13, 2013, 09:29:16 PM »
Does anyone have a copy of "A History of Firearms" by Major H.B.C. Pollard, published in I believe 1933?  Included is a bit of information on John Cookson.  A footnote I have indicates this is on page 71.  I am interested in what is said.

Thanks,
Jim

How much of it do you want?

Here is the paragraph mentioning Cookman..page 71

The seven shot repeater was probably of the same general type as we find marked with all sorts of names, "John Cookman fecit Londini 1666"  "Gorgo, Londini,"  " Herman Barne, Londini," Bartholomeo Cotel," " Onuterisch, Wein," etc.

If you need more, I can copy it and email it to you.
