Philly Style Horn
« on: March 11, 2013, 12:42:15 AM »
It is about 13 ½” around the outside curve. The Walnut base is about ¾ hollowed out and is held in with the same 6 pins that hold the base band on. The collar and tip are turned from horn the tip is threaded ½ - 13. The collar is a press fit and held in place by the staple. Tip and collar are colored with a mixture of dark dyes and the body with AF and Brown shoe polish.

I like it Tim. Nice Philladelphia style screw tip. Now on to a Lancaster or a York County.
