Tileston rifle

Do anyone have good full length pics of the Tileston 1773 rifle? This rifle intrigues me very much but I would really like to get a good view of it. What is the current thinking regarding the origins of this gun?

It's stil very contentious.  I'm not certain if any of the detailed photos are permissible to publish presently - perhaps the photographer or others will add to the conversation?

There were Tilestons in the bay area (Boston), but I believe some research has also turned up some Tileston candidates in VA or MD.

It' a very nice rifle, and the furnishings are first rate - not crude at all, very comparable to modern "wax castings" of identical brass hardware.  Whoever forged it definitely knew what he was doing.

Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government!
