Burns and Co./pictures added
« on: March 30, 2013, 03:46:02 AM »
Has anyone ever heard of or seen a rifle with the barrel marked Burns & Co ? It is written ( engraved) in cursive, top barrel flat. This particular rifle  looks to be shortened and a capper now with a Goulcher lock. Will get pictures up tomarrow.

Thanks for any input,Dan

Here is a H. Burns & Co Rifle. The Ohio books has a Henry Burns, Preble County. They have him in the 1850, 70 & 80 census. Dying circa 1890.
They also have a Burns & Leatherman, Montgomery County. Sellers has several Burns. But did not see any Burns & Co.
