In addition to developing this web site feature as a teaching and research resource, we had hoped for other benefits and indeed they have occurred. There have been small bits of unknown information deposited in the discussion of these guns, not previously published that are now available for all to consider. Most important to the moderators , however, we have identified and "reunited" at least three families with their ancestors work:

2. The realtives of George Slonaker of Bedford Co, PA
3. The Great, great , Great Grandson of Edward Klein of Illinois
