Why?

Generally looks will suffer.  ???

Just wondering,

while drilling ramrod hole, the drill wondered a little low,so i can't take off the wood on the bottom the amount i wanted to. i got 3/16 at the entry thimble, and around 1/8 at the trigger guard, if that makes sense. any suggestions?

Taper the lower fore end to match. Cut another 1/16"  at the pipe.

Just taper the bottom of the forearm. 1/8" below the RR entry is perfect, then just taper to the trigger guard from there.
