project modern side lock

 I got my hands on a safari arms side lock in 50 cal that has seen little use then lucky me i got my hands on a green river barrel with peep sight i just need to do a small modification to the action and it's a perfect drop in. Now some of you must of refine the finish on some of those modern side lock and did some wood work, they have this bulky look to them, does one follow the same rules for the fore harm as any other built . If some of you have attack some of these creatures please send me pictures .I am very interested of seen the finish product.
