Banded Horn With A Twist
« on: May 07, 2013, 12:46:41 AM »
It is about 14” around the outside curve. The Apple wood base plug is about 1 ¾”, it is about ¾  hollowed out, the horn fits inside of it. The tip is of Whitetail antler, it is a two part, pinned to together with 3 steel pins and to the horn with 3 more. Bands were heated and pressed on the secured with 3 pins each. Color is oil based leather dye and Brown shoe polish.

I like the horn except for the butt Tim. Maybe the abrupt edge at the horn? I'm not really sure. Looks like your usual great work. As always, it's my opinion and worth exactly what you paid for it. ;D ;D
